Scripture does not tell Christians to condone the modern idea of tolerance, which accepts any ideas and rarely confronts another's beliefs; we cannot simply ignore the differences between ourselves and those who do not believe. God commands us to share the gospel. But He also calls us to a higher standard than tolerance. We are to love all others, from fellow Christians to our enemies, and to seak unity with our fellow believers.
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek." (Romans 1:16 esv)
G. K. Chesterton (author) once wrote: "Tolerance is the virtue of the man without convictions."
I believe that everyone has some sort of conviction in their heart, but maybe they just haven't put in the right order. That order should be right with God first, and then life would be seen from a different view.

How can we be kind to one another if we do not have a Christian driven tolerance for are fellow man. "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32 esv).

Are we capable of showing it "Tolerance," only if we truly have Christ in are hearts!
