Being Diligent

Joshua 22:5 (New King James Version)

5 But take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

This means that we Christians are reminded throughout the Word about being obedient to the Word of God. Also, we must constantly remind each other about our spiritual responsibilities. Sometimes we are so busy that we neglect thinking about who we are to be. If we know we are God’s children, we will love Him and joyfully server Him. We must not let daily lives interfere with our spiritual growth.

Psalm 77:6 (New King James Version)

6 I call to remembrance my song in the night; I meditate within my heart,
And my spirit makes diligent search.
When we pray to God, he lifts us from looking at ourselves to looking at Him.

Proverbs 13:4 (New King James Version)

4 The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; But the soul of the diligent shall be made rich.

Remember to always be diligent in God’s word!
