Mark 13:32-37

Today is a short blog but, has enough meaning that it will change your life if your are listening.

Mark 13:32-37 (New King James Version)

No One Knows the Day or Hour

32 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. 34 It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. 35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”

What does this mean?

Jesus is coming back; we don’t know when He will arrive. What are the assigned tasks that you have to do before He comes back? What are the things that only you can do? Whom are the people Jesus has put in your life, the people who are depending on you for the message of the Gospel? Certainly that would included your children and close friends. Whom else would it include? What talents has God given you to faithfully use in the last days?; How are you using them? Do you know someone at church who is straying away from their Lord? Are you doing that work God has given you? Are you in a leadership position? Are you serving faithfully? Here is another way to look at that subject. What if you knew that tomorrow would be last day of the world? What would you do today? Perhaps those are the things you should be doing today even though tomorrow might not be the last day.

Prayer: Heavenly Father thank you for this day. It is true we know not when you will return. Please let me be a light that will shine bright for you Father God. Please help me Father God, to be stronger and more convicted to your word. Father God, please place non believers in my path so that I might turn them from the ways of the world and follow You and only You Lord. Thank you Jesus for saving me. In Christ Name. Amen
