Replace fear with "Inspiration"

Many people think that believing in God protects them from trouble, so when calamity comes, they question God's goodness and justice. But the message of Job is that you should not give up on God because he allows us to have bad experiences. It is the bad experiences that build your integrity and shape your character. Faith in God does not guarantee us personal prosperity, and lack of faith does not guarantee troubles in this life. If this were so, people would believe in God simply to get rich. God is capable of rescuing us from suffering, but he may also allow suffering to come for reasons we cannot understand. It is Satan's strategy to get us to doubt God at exactly this moment. In Job 2:1-13, shows a perspective broader than seeking his own personal comfort. If we always knew why we were suffering, our faith would have no room to grow.

We have a choice, it is either "Heaven or Hell". I have chosen to believe in Heaven even though I have been diagnosed with a rare, untreatable terminal brain disease. One thing to always remember is "you don't even own your own life now, and at some point you have to give it up". When love for God and duty for God are one, then Grace is with you. That is what gives me the comfort, strength, courage, to face fear, and replace it with Inspiration of knowing that Jesus will be waiting for me with open arms.
