Burdens

Burdens why do we try to bear them on our own?  Simple answer is; because we try to own thing that happens in our lives, it's human nature, it's living in sin, and it's not understanding how to let go and surrender it to the Lord.  It's not knowing how to forgive completely, it's putting all the pain we feel inside and keeping it inside, it's not letting go....

I often ask myself how can I let go of the burdens that I carry from day-to-day.  It's called surrendering during prayer, it's much harder than we think.  Because our human nature and mind constantly reminds of the issues that plague our lives.  Whether it's finance, relationships, illness, broken promises, children, parents, spouses, and not having the full faith and confidence in Jesus Christ is a burden that we put on ourselves.

I asked myself today what does God have to say about burdens and how to handle them and this is what I discovered.

God can be trusted with our anxieties and concerns. Here, we're invited to hand our worries and problems over to God, who can handle them better than we can. He'll never let you down.
